The Holy Tabernacle Church of Brockton was founded in 1994 by Bishop G. W. Manigault, II and Pastor C McCray-Manigault with a divine vision to create a spiritual home that would impact lives locally and internationally. What began as a local congregation has grown into something extraordinary - serving as the headquarters for Judah Ministries, International.
Our church stands as a testament to the power of faithful leadership and community dedication. From our humble beginnings on Main Street, we have become a beacon of hope and transformation, touching lives across continents through our ministry work and outreach programs.
The legacy of our founders continues to inspire our mission today, as we remain committed to biblical teaching, community service, and global ministry impact. Pastor Shekinah A. Manigault
Since January 2023, Pastor Shekinah A. Manigault has served as the Senior Pastor of The Holy Tabernacle Church of Brockton, bringing nearly two decades of dedicated ministry experience to her leadership role. Her journey in Christian ministry began with her ordination in 2005, marking the start of a calling that would profoundly impact our church community.
Before stepping into her current role as Senior Pastor, Pastor Shekinah demonstrated exceptional leadership and spiritual depth through her service as Elder of Pastoral Care and Elder of Music and Worship Ministry. These foundational experiences equipped her with a unique understanding of both the spiritual and practical needs of our congregation.
Her heart for pastoral care and worship excellence continues to shape our church's ministry approach, creating an environment where every member feels valued, cared for, and spiritually nourished. Under her leadership, our church continues to grow in both spiritual maturity and community impact.

Our founding Bishop and Pastor retired from the local ministry in 2023. With decades of experience in church leadership and international ministry development, they continue to serve as members of the church Governing Board, and in other leadership areas as needed.
Elder Stanley Boykin
Minister of Christian Education, responsible for educating, training and equipping believers. Oversees all ministry education and training programs, community education programs including computer literacy and job skills training.
Elder Jerome Morris
Minister of Evangelism and Outreach, developing effective means of reaching people of all ages, cultures and creeds with the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our community.
Elder Chris Forrest
Minister of Music and Media, overseeing all aspects of our music ministry including direction, supervision, planning, and implementation of worship programs.
Continuing Our Leadership Excellence
Elder Yvetha Morris
Minister of Pastoral Care, serving as the helping hands and lifting hearts of our ministry. Responsible for ministry to church members, families, and community members in need.
Elder Stacy Handy
Minister of Youth, coordinating and implementing all youth ministry activities. Guides youth in their spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental development.

Biblical Stewardship in Action
Under the leadership of Bishop G. W. Manigault, and Pastor Cathy McCray-Manigault our Administration and Finance Ministry serves as the backbone of our church operations, ensuring that every resource is managed with biblical integrity and wisdom. This vital ministry develops and establishes sound procedures that honor God while effectively supporting our mission and vision.
The ministry encompasses all aspects of church administration, from accounting and financial planning to business operations and resource allocation. Their commitment to biblical principles ensures that our church operates with transparency, accountability, and faithful stewardship of the resources God has entrusted to us.
Through careful planning and wise management, this ministry enables all other church ministries to function effectively, creating a solid foundation that supports our local community work and international ministry efforts through Judah Ministries International.
Christian Education Ministry
Under the leadership of Elder Stanley Boykin, our Christian Education Ministry focuses on educating, training, and equipping believers for effective service in God's kingdom.
Beyond spiritual education, we extend our reach into the community by providing practical training in computer literacy and basic job skills, demonstrating Christ's love through practical service.
Evangelism and Outreach Ministry
Under Elder Jerome Morris's leadership, this ministry develops innovative and effective approaches to reach people of all ages, cultures, and creeds with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Their mission extends beyond church walls, actively engaging with unchurched individuals and families in our community through various outreach programs and evangelistic efforts.
Worship & Care Ministries
Music and Media Ministry
Elder Chris Forrest leads our Music and Media Ministry, overseeing the development and operation of all musical aspects of our worship experience. This ministry handles direction, supervision, planning, promotion, implementation, and administration of music programs that enhance our corporate worship and individual spiritual growth.
From traditional hymns to contemporary worship, our music ministry creates an atmosphere where hearts are prepared to receive God's word and spirits are lifted in praise and adoration.
Pastoral Care Ministry
Elder Yvetha Morris heads our Pastoral Care Ministry, truly embodying the "helping hands and lifting hearts" aspect of our church family. This ministry provides essential support to church members, their families, and community members during times of need, celebration, and spiritual growth.
Through hospital visits, counseling, prayer support, and practical assistance, this ministry ensures that no one walks through life's challenges alone.

Youth Ministry
Under the passionate leadership of Elder Stacy Handy, our Youth Ministry is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Christian leaders. This vital ministry coordinates and implements comprehensive youth activities that address the spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental development of our young people.
Our youth programs create safe spaces where teenagers and young adults can explore their faith, build lasting friendships, and develop the character and skills needed to make a positive impact in their communities. Through mentorship, biblical teaching, and engaging activities, we help guide our youth toward becoming confident, compassionate leaders.
