The Mubende Medical Outreach brings vital healthcare services directly to communities with limited access to medical facilities. Our comprehensive approach addresses immediate health needs while building long-term capacity through community health workers and preventive care initiatives.

This outreach focuses on high-impact interventions including cervical cancer screening, chronic disease management, and infectious disease prevention, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive quality care regardless of their economic status.

Diagnostic Testing & Laboratory Supplies

Laboratory services are essential for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. Our diagnostic capacity covers infectious diseases, chronic conditions, and preventive screening.

Infectious Disease Testing

  • HIV test kits: UGX 50,000 (50 tests)
  • Malaria kits: Included in HIV allocation
  • Hepatitis B strips (20): UGX 36,000
  • Syphilis test kits (20): UGX 36,000

  • Blood pressure machines & batteries: UGX 650,000

Note: BP monitoring equipment represents the largest single equipment investment, reflecting the high prevalence of hypertension in the community.

Vision Care

Reading Glasses (50 pieces): UGX 200,000

Vision correction is a critical but often overlooked need in rural communities. Our supply of 50 reading glasses will be distributed to community members following vision screening by our ophthalmologist and optician team.
